Iran’s agricultural and food industries have consistently presented enticing investment prospects for traders and merchants worldwide. This sector’s positive track record in Iran and the alignment of its producers with global production standards are among its competitive advantages.
In light of this, the Food Trade Conference was held in 2022 at the Iran Chamber of Commerce with the aim of bringing together influential figures in Iran’s food and agricultural industries and promoting exports and international relations in this field.
The first edition of this event featured 26 specialized sessions attended by over 1,000 food and agriculture industry professionals, where the most critical issues in the industry were examined in three sections: financing, market networking, and targeted exports.
Building on the success of the previous Conference, the second International Food Trade Conference is scheduled to take place on June 9, 2024, coinciding with the 31st Iran International AgroFood Exhibition, with the support of the Iran Chamber of Commerce’s Food Industries Commission and the Trade Development Organization.
